‘Tis the season for soirees! Before we travel for the holidays, we had a few friends over for an early Christmas celebration. And of course I wanted to show you how it came together. The look came about because I’m mad for plaid this season! As expected, I have some easy DIY’s for your table and some baked treats for your sweet tooth!

Tablescape
I love this plaid table runner from Target! I saw it, bought it, and planned my table around it! Scalloped plates and green glasses are also from Target. I can always find something there!
My favorite part of the table are the mini wreaths I made! And such a quick and easy DIY! I found thin greenery garland in the Dollar Spot section of Target. It was $3. Then I glued on a red bow and red jingle bells that I found at the Dollar Tree. I placed it on a napkin that I made into a tree! I found this tree folding idea on Home Stories A to Z Instagram page!
Trader Joe’s had some great greenery and red berry twigs to add to my hydrangeas!
Dessert Table
My treat cart had a popcorn station with marshmallows, Christmas sprinkles, chocolate chunks and caramel to drizzle on top! I also made cherry hand pies. Recipe to come! My red plaid blanket was only $7 from Target Dollar Spot! The frame backdrop is a piece from Ikea that I’ve used for years in party after party. That came together pretty easy as well! I made a simple “Merry” banner and tied on the berry and pine cone twigs to the sides. I found those twigs at the Dollar Tree! They have so many good finds if you just walk around and look!
The greenery under my cake stand was a mini wreath from Trader Joe’s. I just added red jingle bells. It was only $7 and says it lasts up to 3 weeks! Smelled great too!
Cherry hand pies!
Drink Cart
I had a latte and hot chocolate cart! We love our Kitchen Aid Nespresso maker! We also have an electric milk frother, so we can turn our espressos into cappuccinos. What kind of holiday get togethers will you guys be hosting this year?!
