A hot cocoa bar seems like a holiday time staple! It is for our family anyway! I have an easy backdrop idea for you as well as some cute treats for an awfully sweet cocoa station!

Backdrop
This backdrop is super easy to recreate! I started with a wooden hoop. If you have a hula hoop, that will work too! Just spray paint it a solid color first. Next I created a small 2.5-3 foot balloon garland with mini 5″ balloons. To hang it on my hoop, I simply twisted it around the hoop. Then I tied on my Holly Jolly felt garland! These garlands are so popular right now, and can be used in many ways. I did use a piece of clear tape to hold the string onto the hoop, so that the string didn’t slide down. Finally, I taped a hand made paper bow to the top! You can also buy a bow already made from the dollar store or Michaels. That’s it!
Treats
For the treat table, I used craft paper across the top of the table. This way, I don’t even need a board or serving tray. You can lay your food right on the paper, then it’s easy clean up afterwards by just throwing it away! Most of my cookies and marshmallows came from Target. I did find Christmas tree cookies and hot cocoa sticks at Trader Joe’s.
For the reindeer pops, I put a marshmallow on a lollipop stick, then dipped it in chocolate. Set it on parchment paper to dry, as it will peel off the paper easily. But before it dries, add googly eyes and broken pretzels as antlers. This will work as the “glue” to keep them in place once it dries. After it’s set, I added a dot of red icing for a nose! You can also use a red m & m or other small red candy.
Hot Cocoa Cups
My disposable white mugs are by Table Luxe. Perfect size for kids and easy clean up! I found mug holder gingerbread cookies at Trader Joe’s for the garnish. And place adorable pink tree stir sticks in each cup. You can jazz up your cocoa with adding a design on top of your hot chocolate! I used a snowflake shaped stencil and sprinkled on cocoa powder to create the design on top of my cool whip! Will you be having a hot cocoa bar this year for the holidays?! Let me know in the comments!

Hello do you have a template you used for the big bow on your wooden ring?
Lori says
Hi! Here is a template you can use. This is for a small bow. I just freehand created a larger template on my own to make the larger size. But this website has a PDF template you can print out, then cut out. https://www.popofgold.com/wp-admin/
