Starting with the tablescape, the bright and sparkly gold confetti placemats are by Placematz. They really made the table pop and their mats can be personalized! They have loads of designs to check out! And what I love about the company is that they use only Earth-friendly, biodegradable paper in all their products and packaging (no packing peanuts or bubble-wrap) and that includes the packing tape!
The dinner plates, dessert plates and napkins are by Daydream Society. Forks are by Sophistiplate and pale pink coupes are by Sugar & Cloth. If you like this tablescape, you could win it all! Head over to Pop of Gold’s Instagram page on Monday, January 21st to enter! All of that is just part of the big giveaway! I’ve teamed up with 4 other talented and creative ladies to give away a Valentine’s Day Party Package! Check my Instagram to find out more!
I used a paper punch to make cute, feminine bows for the straws!
DIY number 1 are these adorable “XO” craft letters that I found at Target (only $2.49 each!)! They are paper mache letters and are tan in color, like kraft paper. I wanted to keep with my bright color scheme and could not find card stock to match, so I thought why not use a napkin to keep with the exact same pattern. You know how in packs of napkins, you always have extras?! Well I just traced the letters on the napkins and used some mod podge to glue it on! Super quick and easy! Add some hot pink flowers and your table is set!
Now for brunch! To decorate, I used an iridescent fringe backdrop and then made heart garland from a paper punch and different colored card stock I had on hand. The hot pink tissue fringe I had for years and I believe I got it from Shop Sweet Lulu.
My 2nd easy DIY, also with napkins, are these marquee letters! They are from Michaels and I just happened to have the letters that spelled BAE. Ha!! So again I traced the letters on the napkin and cut them out. That’s it! For these, you do need to be patient and apply carefully, as they can rip easily. But I had no problems and it was done fast. Letter boards are very popular and can be used for every holiday and party! The rest of the decor I had on hand. Always look around your house first to see what you have!
A lovely fruit and yogurt parfait can be served in champagne glasses.
Heart shaped waffles.
Cheese and chocolate board.
Milkshake shooters topped with frosting, donuts and marshmallows! Mini cupcake cakes with some handmade cupcake toppers. Check out my easy tutorial on how to make your own toppers! “Sweets” sign is by Mulberry Market Designs.
“Drink Up” sign is also by Mulberry Market Designs.
Add a pop of color by placing pink paper shreds in your ice bucket to display your beverage! My 3rd and final quick DIY was painting a heart shape on my champagne bottle with mod podge, and sprinkling with gold glitter! Give it an hour to dry and then it can go in the fridge to chill. I hope you found some Valentine’s and Galentine’s Day inspiration for your own party! Who else will be celebrating with their girlfriends?!
