Hi friends! Lots of holiday and new years parties coming up! Just wanted to show you a super quick and simple way to make some wine charms. If you are a crafter, you probably have these items already like I did. Ha! You’ll need glitter paper card stock, which you can match the color to your party colors. Or go neutral with golds and silvers. I usually keep gold and silver card stock on hand since they will undoubtably match anything if I need it in a pinch. You’ll also need a 1 inch circle punch and a 2.5 inch circle punch. Everything you need can be found at a craft store. If you want to get fancy, you can make these charms look like Christmas ball ornaments! If you’ll see in the picture below, I did that with the red and green charm! All I did was free hand cut a small square out of silver paper, and rounded the corners. Tape or glue it to the back side of the charm! They are so adorable!
Once you have your supplies, they take literally 10 seconds to make! First punch out your 2.5 inch circle. Then within that circle, punch out the 1 inch circle. Last, cut a slit through the outside of circle into the inner circle. I cut mine near the thinner part. This allows you to slip it onto your stemware. That’s it! Now your guests will know which drink is theirs with the colored wine charms! One last idea that I did not photograph…You can use 1 color of card stock, then use a small piece of washi tape and tape that onto your charm. Each guest can write their name on the washi tape to keep track of their drink. That’s great if you only have 1 color of the glitter card stock on hand. Also, washi tape can peel off easily without damaging the charm, so the charms can be reusable! Anyone else have quick DIY’s to share?!
