Throw a Jojo Siwa Inspired Birthday Party

Ellie’s 6th birthday party, I have to say, has been my favorite so far! It was so very bright and colorful and it couldn’t have gone any better! It was full of bows, rainbows and unicorns! She said it was a dream come true. haha. It really is every 6 year old girls’ best party theme! And I can’t wait to show you all the details!

Dessert Table

Starting with the dessert table, I had a custom color balloon garland and “dream” balloons by Oh How Charming and added gold fringe behind it. Big bows I cut from card stock and a star garland gave it that Jojo touch! Ellie’s cake was made by her Uncle Duff’s bakery, Charm City Cakes West. It was so perfectly girly! Sugar cookies by Cafe Everyday Sunday, always delicious and perfectly matched the party! White chocolate covered oreos were gifted by Rosebuds Chocolate. They were fantastic! Check them out for parties, favors and holidays, they do it all! All of the desserts were wonderful! A closer look at the desserts to follow.

For a quick and easy DIY, I used a rainbow paper plate, taped skewers to the back of it and placed it in vases of hydrangea flowers as “clouds”.

Table Setting

Moving on to the table – Ahhhh! One of my faves! I love the faded rainbow plates by Oh Happy Day (from Ellie & Piper Party Co Shop)! They were the inspo that started the whole party! Unicorn napkins and straws. Paper placemats that look like real linen (gifted from Table & Dine). Flowers always from Trader Joe’s! And I made paper bows for each place setting from card stock. Caitlin from Cafe Everyday Sunday designed the unicorn cookies to match the napkins!

Party Decor

I love our staircase! It has the perfect nook at the bottom to decorate! The balloons, fringe garland and letter board all came from Target. The rainbow craft at the bottom of the bar cart was inspired by Aurelie Erikson. She posted in her Instagram stories how to make these rainbows from yarn and styrofoam wreaths! So easy!

Party Favors

Party favor bags and favors were picked up at Target. I created the flags with card stock, paper straws (I have an endless supply, haha), curling ribbon and rainbow tags I found in the gift bag aisle.

Rainbow charcuterie board!

Entertainment

We had a bubble-ologist put on a show for the kids! It was amazing! The kids loved it and they each got to go inside a bubble! Like their whole self, inside a bubble! So cool! I hope you enjoyed this party! Has anyone else heard of a bubble-ologist?! Thank you for stopping by!
