Tropical Flamingo Dinner Party

It’s summer! With all of the beautiful tropical and flamingo Pinterest images I’ve been pinning lately, I just had to have a tropical flamingo dinner party of my own!

The flamingo plates came from Kohl’s. Right now the plates are on sale for half off! And anyone that shops at Kohl’s knows they always have a 15, 20 or 30% off coupons plus Kohl’s cash, so you can always get a great deal! The salad plates are $2.49 right now and dinner plates are $2.99! The chargers are from Dollar Tree, gold flatware from Target and the napkins are Crate & Barrel. Target had some awesome flamingo party supplies as you’ll see throughout the party. My water glass tumblers are from the Opalhouse line. And the drink stirrers and wine glass charms came from the Dollar Spot. I served pineapple mimosas! They were heavenly! I’m a sucker for the sweeter cocktails!

I attempted my first pineapple vase! Coring the pineapple was messy but not time consuming. I put a small glass jar inside of it for the flowers. I think it turned out very cute!

For the table runner, I went with palm leaves, cut fruit and flowers! You can get the palm leaves at Oriental Trading! They have a ton of great items for flamingo, pineapple or luau parties! And my flower go-to is Trader Joe’s. Best prices by far, and they always have a great selection. My only gripe about this party was that there was no sun for good lighting! It was sooooo pretty in person! Just like I’m going through a banana bread phase, I’m also going through a “cut fruit for decor” phase. So obsessed!

My hubby grilled chicken, veggie, pineapple skewers and they were delicious! The kabobs were chicken, pineapple, onion, zucchini and orange peppers. We served them over rice. We used the Kona Coast Island Teriyaki Marinade on the chicken and it’s a winner!

The placemat is from Kohl’s and cocktail napkins from Target dollar spot. Cocktail pitcher is from Pottery Barn.

A good friend gifted me these super cute stemless, flamingo champagne glasses! They are ombre pink at the bottom, which makes the pineapple mimosas beautiful!

Piña Colada Cupcakes for dessert! I used a recipe from Sprinkles + Streamers and it’s amazing! I’ve been following Corrine for a little while now and really love her blog! She too has party ideas, recipes and DIY projects, so take a look!

Bar carts are so fun for parties and get togethers! They roll anywhere, look great and let your guests have easy access to food and drinks. This bar cart is from Target, where I find most of everything in my life! Ha! It’s also listed on my new Shop page, where you can shop my favorite products! Check it out! We recently had to get a massive palm tree cut down from our back yard, but we kept some of the stumps because they looked so cool! We had a few palm tree stumps next to the bar cart as cocktail seating! I wish I got better pictures of it! Hope you all enjoyed my tropical dinner party. Thanks for stopping by!
