This DIY kids party is easy to recreate to kick up your Valentine’s Day mom game this year!

Backdrop
The heart fringe backdrop was made from poster board, plastic tablecloths, crepe streamers, metallic fringe and chunky yarn to give texture, just like I made the Christmas fringe backdrop. The tutorial is on my Instagram page in the highlights. I cut a heart from the poster board, and just taped on my fringe strips in rows to give layers! It’s that easy. Then cut the bottom to shape the heart. I added a paper bow made from card stock to give it an uber girly touch.
The bows were added to the heart napkins in the tablescape as well! The Tic Tac Toe game was created with a wood board from Michaels and washi tape. The X and O’s are crayon letters made from my Etsy shop! The gorgeous watercolor art cupcake tags on the heart tumblers and favor bags are by Alexis Gorham on Etsy. Add in a candy board and cupcakes and you’ve set up a little girl’s dream! I ordered Ellie’s t-shirt from MazeCustoms on Etsy, linked below. I chose the colors and the saying on the shirt!

Bar Cart
For the bar cart, I created a simple xoxo banner. Mini cupcakes, cocoa bombs and a candy board finish out our lil party! Party favor bags were adorned with Alexis’ adorable tags as well! Inside the bags were an assortment of small toys from Target dollar spot and a couple candies, including a lip lollipop from the Dollar Tree! The heart pillows and heart tumblers were from the 99 cent store!! Tumblers were $2.99 each, and pillows were $2.49, but such a great buy! Will you be celebrating Valentine’s Day with your littles?
