Kids’ Easter Party

Hi all! I have some easy ideas for a simple Kids Easter Party! If you want to treat the kiddos to a little Easter get together, I’m going to show you how affordable it can be but still wows the crowd!

For my kids place setting, I had gold confetti place mat by Altoona Designs that I used for Valentine’s Day. Tip: Always reuse items!! I keep everything and reuse at a later time in a different party or setting. The blue plates were from Target and only 59 cents each! They are reusable, dishwasher safe and came in a variety of colors. The bunny plates I found in the dollar store. The bunny eye glasses were from Dollar Tree and made great party favors! Napkin rings and gold plastic flatware are from Target.

What to eat?! For kids parties and play dates, I like to keep it simple and just offer a few things. I used a bunny cookie cutter to cut rye bread and made chicken salad sandwiches. Just added a candy eye and marshmallow for the tail. Also used a carrot cookie cutter to cut sliced cheese! Dessert treats were cupcakes with a marshmallow peep on top; just use a toothpick!

On the bar cart was a ferris wheel stand that I’ve had for ages. Instead of putting cupcakes in the ferris wheel, as it’s intended, I put some crinkle paper and Easter eggs filled with candy and jelly beans! There was also Egg sugar cookies with frosting and sprinkles for the kids to decorate themselves. I found a sugar cookie kit at Target that included it all! I made a mini balloon garland from left over balloons from my daughter’s birthday party. It totally takes a simple party up a notch! I’m always digging through old party supplies for each party I create.

Of course there will be an Easter egg hunt in the yard as well! Hope you enjoyed these easy ideas! What fun Easter ideas do you have?!
