Ghoul Girls Kids’ Halloween Party

Today I have some kids party ideas or play date ideas for a girls’ Halloween party! I loved the idea of black, white and pink for a girly Halloween and I got to use my Cricut Air Explore 2 for the first time! You’ll also find a couple of easy DIY’s and kids food ideas!

Table Setting

To start with the table, I used a black and white striped runner, blush pink plates from Target and black and white mask plates from Geese and Gander! I used my Cricut to make girl ghosts to place on the glass milk bottles with some black and white striped straws I had on hand. Play date favors were black slime and pink googley eye rings. The table centerpiece was an EEK sign from the Target Dollar Spot last year and some DIY pumpkins. My daughter and I painted some white pumpkins with hot pink paint. The black and white ones were a marbling technique with black nail polish! I’ll be posting a tutorial on how to create those October 1st! We also added some googley eyes and bows to the cute pumpkins. =)

Dessert Table & Backdrop

Now for the food table! For the decor, I hung an iridescent fringe backdrop and some hot pink fringe garland I’ve had from previous parties. I made a mummy and 2 girly ghosts from card board boxes and spray painted them black. Taped on some googley eyes from the Dollar Tree and bows and white streamer paper as mummy wrap. Placing black, white and pink honeycomb balls under the table gave to added pops of color.

My biggest party tip is to search or “shop” your house before buying items for a party. This black frame is to hang photos, but I am using it to hang treats for the kids. I found animal cookies that had pink bags, so that matched my theme. I had a few extra black and white striped bags, so I added the girly ghost to them and put crackers inside.

You’ll see that googley eyes has become a theme to the party, so I added candy googley eyes on baby bell cheese and mini brownie bites. I hope you enjoyed these ideas! Who else will be having a kids Halloween party?!
