Not sure how many big summer parties there will be, but it’s always ok to celebrate with family! Or even if you have just a few friends over, setting a fun table is the way to go to make every get together feel special. I pulled out a DIY piece I made and used it in a different way, along with some super affordable tableware to give off some tropical vibes.

The table was inspired by these cute toucan plates found at the Target dollar spot, along with the $1 palm napkins. These plates would be cute for a summer kick off party or an end of homeschooling party, haha, or any time all summer long really. Everything else I had on hand. They paired great with leftover Oh Happy Day rainbow ombre plates and my blush pink charger plates. I used palm leaves as placemats, which I got last summer from Oriental Trading. Also, I used them as a table runner. My pink coupe glasses (only $8.48 for 4!) are normally for adult beverages, but since they are plastic, they are great for kids as well! I used them to hold cookie treats.
Last Fall, I made this DIY pretzel holder, which can also hold bagels or donuts, etc. Get the tutorial here. For this setting, I used it as a centerpiece by adding a pack of $2 balloons and palms, and placing my cupcakes down the center. I hope this gives you a little bit of inspiration to dive into the summer! Will you be having gatherings?
