Holidays are approaching fast! I'm planning a Friendsgiving party next month right before Thanksgiving, as we'll be traveling for Turkey Day. This partnership with Basic Invite came at a perfect time as I was trying to plan ahead and get my decor and invitations locked down. As you know, I love a party, big or small. And as always, planning ahead is my only way to go. I knew I wanted my table to be farmhouse-y with some orange pumpkins and greenery. So I was on the hunt to find an invitation that matched my table scape idea. I took a look at Basic Invites Creative Thanksgiving Party Invitations to see if I could find something in that wheel house. And I have to say, I was impressed with my final product!
As you can see, the original invitation on the website is shown in orange and white. The neat thing about Basic Invite is that they have over 180 different color options! And you get to play around and view it instantly! In the screen shot below, on the right side, you can customize each line of text, and in some cases, each word and/or the artwork. This way, you are customizing your invitation down to the tiniest detail. I went with the color Smokey as my back ground, Meadow as the wreath since I knew I would have greenery on my table, and the color Pumpkin for a pop of orange in the word Friendsgiving and the date. Y'all, I feel like I am now an invitation designer! I really and truly just loved how cute it turned out and how well I nailed my theme. It also looks nothing like the original, so I have a one of a kind invitation!
There are over 40 color options with the envelopes as well. And they are peel and stick, so no licking here! My other favorite thing about Basic Invite is the custom envelope liners. I wasn't planning on getting liners, but as I played around with all of their options, one just got me and I had to go for it! I was able to match my colors and customize my last name on the liner. The liners came separate, and you just slide it in to the envelope and use the peel and stick to adhere it. They arrived sooner than expected, which is always a plus. Now I just need to figure out the menu! Does anyone else celebrate a Friendsgiving Dinner Party?
If you're having a Christmas or holiday party, check out Basic Invites awesome line of holiday party invitations. They have over 500 Christmas and holiday cards as well if you are planning a family photo card. This is one of my favorites from their collection! Thanks for stopping by! I can't wait to show you the rest of my Friendsgiving table setting soon!
