Flamingle Cocktail Party

One of my best friends, Holland, and I used to love throwing parties together! We did many bridal showers and baby showers and had so much fun planning and crafting. Not long ago, she moved across the country to be closer to her family. While she did not know many people in her new city, she decided to host a Flamingle Party at her home, just outside of Charlotte, NC, to get to know more ladies. So she asked the friends that she did know to invite their friends, in hopes of growing her friend circle. I helped her plan a few things and she executed it so well I thought I'd share it! There are some really cute details to her Flamingle! These cute pink pineapple napkins came from Wilford & Lee

Kids Lemonade Stand

My 4 year old daughter asked to have a lemonade stand in our front yard, as we've not done that yet. It turned out so cute!! I asked her how much we should sell lemonade for and she said we should give it for free to be nice neighbors since it's so hot outside! (Awwww!) It has been hot out! 115* in Los Angeles last week! Eek! We did not end up getting many visitors to our lemonade stand, but we had a friend over and it was still a good time! What's nice about this little set up is that I had all of the supplies on hand, other than the cookies and the flowers. I found some great free printables online, which I'll show you below! To start, I made the lemonade banner out of card stock, left ove

4th of July Entertaining Ideas

One of my best friends, casting director Holland Weathers out of Charlotte, NC, showed me her 4th of July table setting and I knew I just had to show you all! She may not be a blogger, but she certainly has style! I love the mix of patterns, metals and colors! She found these items from several different stores; none of it is from the same line. Which goes to show that if you have a good eye, you can buy things from anywhere and put them together for your own unique gathering! The USA marquees actually came from a Cracker Barrel! The beautiful table and chairs came from Restoration Hardware. Disclosure: Some of the links below are affiliate links. If you click through and decide to make a pu
