Reuniting with my bestie Taressa in Pittsburgh called for a dinner party of some sort. We love entertaining together and she is a very gracious hostess! This happened back in April and I'm just now getting around to posting all of the beautiful pictures of our dinner and her dining room! While admiring her stunning photo that she took in Italy on her honeymoon, we got inspired and decided on cooking up some Italian food and setting the scene with pulling the blues and whites. The beautiful table

Tropical Flamingo Dinner Party

It's summer! With all of the beautiful tropical and flamingo Pinterest images I've been pinning lately, I just had to have a tropical flamingo dinner party of my own! The flamingo plates came from Kohl's. Right now the plates are on sale for half off! And anyone that shops at Kohl's knows they always have a 15, 20 or 30% off coupons plus Kohl's cash, so you can always get a great deal! Blueberry Banana Bread Muffins

On days when I have nothing planned with my daughter, and she is bored, we often bake. I have a sweet tooth, and apparently the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. =) Instead of going straight to cupcakes, which is my favorite, or straight up banana bread, which is a household staple, I tried switching it up a bit. We had ripe bananas and some blueberries to use up so I did what I typically do. Jumped on Pinterest to search for a recipe with those ingredients, but Pinterest sucks you in and you find a million recipes you want to try because the photos look so good! Right?! Haha! I found 2 recipes that looked good and decided to combine them and just wing it. Well the result is an epic muff

Lil Man Brunch Sprinkle Baby Shower

This adorable sprinkle shower was given by myself and my good friend Caitlin of Cafe Everyday Sunday to our friends Jamie and Brad for their second boy 4 years ago! Time flies! We went with a Lil Man Ties and Mustaches theme and all of the brunch staples. For decor, we strung onsies and paper neck ties and bow ties on string between 2 vintage wooden ladders. Jumping right into the food, we had breakfast fruit skewers! Fresh fruit with donut holes is so easy and is always a crowd pleaser! Speaking of easy, let's talk about donut pops! We added a mustache to the donut hole on a lollipop stick - that's it! Everyone raved about how cute they were! Here is something I do for almost every party -

Memorial Day Party

Who is ready to kick off the start to summer? I am! My family and I are ready for cook outs, swimming and beach days with friends! We had some friends and neighbors over to grill some burgers and dogs and let the kids go wild in the bounce house! A couple weeks ago I won a Crated party in a box. Crated has themed party boxes that are coordinated by professional party designers to give you a Pinterst-worthy party! My red, white and blue summer party box included a variety of printed placemats, dessert plates, napkins, forks, name cards, water bottle wrappers, cups, paper straws with flags, dessert cups, cupcake toppers and an art print that I framed. And these are not basic supplies. They are

Ellie had been asking for a Garden party for a while. I think because she kept seeing a home insurance commercial that starts with the dad saying "I pinkie promised my little girl a fabulous garden party for her birthday..." Anyone know what I'm talking about?? Hahaha! It's on all the time. Anyway, the party girl I am said why not!? This can be so cute! And guys, it was! At least Ellie and I think so. ;) I can't wait to show you the details! Over all, for the garden party, I went with lots of fr
